Looking for somewhere to go ?

OK, so you've passed your test, bought your bike, and now your ready to ride it, but where to go, and who with?

In response to a number of requests from riders Top Run Training will soon be organising and running a number of ride outs, tours and weekends away.

Here in Yorkshire we are blessed with great scenery and roads. Whatever kind of road you are after you can almost certainly find it in easy reach.

Below you can find a selection of popular routes to enjoy. Many of these roads are well known biking routes, and like many such routes they are in danger of being spoiled by a minority of idiots who insist on riding them as if they are on a qualifying lap of the TT course.

In the height of the biking season you will find many of these routes are heavily policed, this is an almost direct result of the number of idiots that tear along them barely in control with open race pipes screaming away.

Remember treat these roads, and other people using them, with respect, don't be tempted to ride above your abilities and don't annoy the people that live there - with any luck we may then be able to continue to ride these routes for many more years to come.
