Types of Advanced Test.

RoSPA advanced test is split into three groups, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Pass at Bronze level and you have to take a refresher test every 12 months.

Pass at either Silver or Gold and you take a refresher test every 3 years.

There is only one grade of pass for the IAM test and once you have passed you don't need to take any refresher tests.

There is a subscription fee payable every year to the IAM.

For all of the above tests, you are followed by a police class 1 rider, usually on their own bike for the test. Don't worry there aren't any blue lights, all they want to see is a good safe, planned ride. By the time you have taken an advanced course with Top Run Motorcycle Training, you will be more than up to the test.
