Just for a second, try to picture a typical bike school.

You're standing in a car park in the cold, wind and rain, on a bike lesson.

The instructor is drawing a diagram on a piece of paper. It's getting wet and the ink is running all over it. What's worse, you still don't know what he's on about.

All you're thinking about is somewhere warm, with a steaming hot cuppa. But there isn't anywhere. You're trying to concentrate but it's no use... Your brain's shutting down.

Not the best situation to be in when learning to ride a bike!

Well, at Top Run Motorcycle Training that won't happen

We have two purpose built classrooms, with all the teaching aids from whiteboards to O.H.P. and videos to computer simulations.

There is comfortable seating and as much tea or coffee as you can drink - and all FREE.

Most of the theory training takes place in class, where you can ask questions and we can go over it as many times as needed.

We can't stop the rain, but we do have waterproof jackets and over-trousers to keep the worst of it away. And it doesn't feel so bad when you know a warm cuppa is only yards away from you.

After all the free tea and coffee, it's nice to know there are proper toilet facilities, with full disabled access.

So that the bike handling skills can be perfected, we have a large, level secure area for you to practice on.

Also on site, we have the use of a private road with a roundabout, hill start, right and left turns and plenty of room to get the U-turn and emergency stop sorted.

So, by the time we get onto the real roads, you can handle the bike and can concentrate on the other traffic......back
